Course Structure

A Moodle course room is structured in three columns.

The left sidebar is called the course index, where all sections of the course and the activities and materials contained within them are listed. It also uses color coding to indicate whether an activity has already been completed.

In the center is the main content area, which contains the sections of the course or additional activities such as quizzes or assignments that have been added.

On the right side, you will find a collapsible block column, which can contain blocks such as Latest Announcements, Download Materials, or Upcoming Events. Depending on the course, there may be additional blocks if added individually by the instructors.



When you complete an activity, the so-called breadcrumb helps you navigate back to the main course page. To do this, click on the course short name.
